Christian Entrepreneurship, Lasermonk Style

The Very Rev. Bernard McCoy, O.Cist.A Cistercian monk up in Wisconsin took a break from Gregorian chanting one day to try to buy printer ink. Appalled at how expensive it was to recycle his toner cartridge, he decided he and his monk-friends could do it more cheaply, and LaserMonks was born. The community of Our Lady of Springbank Monastery now runs a multimillion dollar toner recycling business, donating all its profits to charities such as a local Hispanic community center and a shelter for victims of domestic violence.
